This is the weekly roundup of companies that have raised funding rounds this week, have jobs available and offer equity to their employees.

Companies which confirm they have equity/stock programs for Employees

First and foremost, we look at companies which confirm on their sites that equity is offered to employees as part of their compensation, ranked in order of how interesting I find the company.

Encord

  • Locations: London, UK and San Francisco, US
  • Raised a $30 million funding round
  • Encord is an AI data development platform. They help companies build better AI models, faster.
  • Jobs available: Hiring for many roles in Sales, Customer Success, Growth, Engineering, Product and Operations.

CodeRabbit

  • Locations: Bay Area, US or Gurgaon/Bangalore/India
  • Raised a $16 million funding round
  • CodeRabbit uses AI to help with code reviews, reducing the time needed for engineering teams to review code and also reducing bugs. As someone who's spent time programming in teams, I recognise how much a tool like this could help dev teams.
  • Jobs available: Hiring for software engineers in the US and India.

PayZen

  • Locations: Denver, San Francisco, Tel Aviv, Remote
  • Raised a $32 million funding round
  • PayZen is building a financial platform for healthcare services. Their platform tries to remove financial barriers from people who are trying to access healthcare and tries to make getting paid easier for those providing healthcare solutions.
  • Jobs available: Data Science, Engineering, Go To Market, Operations, Product, Sales. For now, the available jobs seem to skew towards mid-level and senior roles.

  • Raised a $31million funding round
  • Setpoint builds software to help financial institutions manage complex transactions in the capital markets. They help lenders and borrowers manage funding processes and improve reporting across various asset classes like mortgages, loans, and real estate.

  • Capitalize is fixing the retirement savings system. They have built an app that makes it easy to move your old 401k to an IRA. It saves you time, money and hassle when moving retirement accounts.
  • Jobs available: Only four open positions right now: two software engineering positions, a senior product manager position and a partnerships manager position.

Drift Energy

  • Location: London, UK
  • Raised a £5 million funding round
  • This is a pretty cool one - Drift Energy are building the world's first green energy yachts.
  • Jobs available: These roles are more niche (which is the only reason I've mentioned this company last). Drift are looking for Marine engineers, Naval architects and a procurement manager.

Equity Status Unknown

In this section, we discuss a few companies that don’t have any written confirmation that they offer equity or stock to employees, but they may do (it's unknown to us) and they may be interesting companies to work for nonetheless.

Levels Health

  • Locations: Fully Remote
  • Raised a $16 million funding round
  • Levels health has been making a splash recently. They make bio-wearables. They give you a glucose monitor which you attach to your arm, you download their app and you get information about many of your key health metrics.
  • Jobs available: Nothing at the moment. But they've just raised funding so could be hiring soon. The reason I've mentioned Levels Health, even though they aren't hiring yet, is because I've heard about their product on so many unrelated podcasts, shows and YouTube videos. They're producing something that is clearly gaining traction, so could be a company to watch.
